SAGE provides qualified education guidance couselling in North Connaught College
SAGE is for adults who are considering returning to education, are having difficulty in finding or keeping suitable employment due to lack of appropriate educational qualifications and who wish to explore new forms of further education or training.
A Summer school is held each summer where people can attend workshops at the college and get advice.
During term time A SAGE advisor is present in the college 2 days a week and is available for advice about courses and opportunities after a course at North Connaught College. Please contact SAGE on 071 9138411
The SAGE resource room offers information on courses and careers, a reference library with TV video and internet access
Do you need some extra support due to a disability or a special educational need?
We can help you get the most out of your chosen course with extra help and support
Early in the year you can meet individually and talk about your need for support if you think you might experience difficulty with reading, writing, spelling, maths and basic computers. Learners can work on one-to-one basis or in small groups.
English as a second language classes are another option that can be looked at.
